Social Media & Content Coordinator
Full-time | Brisbane | Start your career where the action actually is.
This is a growth role for someone who wants to learn fast, be out in the field, and build real marketing experience across content, campaigns and brand.
You will not be stuck behind a desk. You will be on the ground, in the markets, meeting vendors, capturing stories and helping bring our precincts to life across every channel.
About Us:
Goodwill Projects is one of Australia’s largest and most awarded market, venue and event operators. Winners of the 2023 Telstra Best of Business Award – Building Communities and the 2024 Australian Small Business Champion Awards, we have been delivering vibrant, community-focused experiences since 2006.
With a portfolio of 12 high-profile markets, Eat Street Northshore and over 100,000 weekly attendees, we create meaningful spaces where small business thrive and communities connect.
We are proudly independent and growing, with a strong reputation for creating experiences people come back to week after week.
About the role
This is our boots-on-the-ground content role.
You will own the day-to-day rhythm of our channels, planning and posting content that actually performs, and being in the comments and DMs building real relationships with our community.
You will be out across our markets and events, capturing the stories of the vendors and small businesses that make our precincts what they are.
You will support the Assistant Marketing Manager, while learning how marketing works across social, email, partnerships and campaigns.
This role is about showing up, being curious, and getting involved. You will see how ideas turn into campaigns, and campaigns turn into real experiences.
Weekend involvement
Our weekends are where it all happens.
While your core hours sit across the week, you will jump in for key market days and events to capture content, support the team and stay connected to the experience you are helping promote.
About you
You are early in your marketing or content career, with 2–3 years’ experience or a strong portfolio that shows real, hands-on content work.
You are confident talking to people. You enjoy meeting vendors, hearing their stories and bringing that to life through content.
You live on Instagram and TikTok. You can talk fluently about what is working on each platform and you have opinions on why. You know the difference between content that just gets views and content that earns a follow, a comment, or a visit.
You have a natural feel for community building. You enjoy talking to people online and offline, and you understand that great social is about relationships, not just reach.
You can shoot and edit short-form video to a high standard on your phone. Whatever the job needs, you can pick it up.
You are confident on the ground. Meeting vendors, asking the questions that get the good stories, and capturing them in the moment.
You are proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You spot opportunities and run at them rather than waiting to be told.
You enjoy being out and about, not sitting at a desk all day.
What you will do
Run our social channels day to day.
Plan, schedule, post and monitor content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Meta. You will know each channel’s voice and what works where.
Build community, not just audience.
Reply to comments, manage DMs, and create the kind of two-way relationship that turns followers into regulars.
Be on the ground
Attend markets and events regularly, capturing content, speaking with vendors and finding stories worth sharing.
Tell vendor stories.
Build relationships with stallholders and small businesses, and turn what they do into content people want to watch and share.
Support content creation
Assist with shooting and gathering content across social channels, including video, photography and behind-the-scenes moments.

Stay organised
Help manage content calendars, assets and timelines to keep everything moving.
