Graphic Designer
Casual / Freelance Graphic Designer – Eat Street Northshore & Goodwill Projects
About the Role:
Ready to make your mark on a brand that people adore? Get ready to design for a world filled with mouth-watering food, live music, fashion, vibrant handmade creations, and a whole lot of energy! Goodwill Projects is on the lookout for a talented Freelance Graphic Designer to join us for exciting, high-energy projects across our iconic brands, including Eat Street Northshore and a range of major market events.
If you’re a creative genius who thrives on variety, loves to turn chaos into colour, and can produce stunning designs at speed, we want you on our team! Bring your ideas, passion, and design skills to the table as we work together to keep our projects fresh, fun, and vibrant.
Who We Are:
We’re Southeast Queensland’s go-to for vibrant markets, events, and lively spaces. Since 2006, we’ve grown into one of the state’s leading farmers market and event coordinators, running 12 highly popular market locations, major standalone events, and the iconic Eat Street Northshore. We’re award-winning (Telstra Business Awards, Australian Small Business Awards) and incredibly passionate about creating experiences and places people want to be in and constantly looking for new ways to push the envelope in food, community, and design.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborating with our dynamic marketing team to come up with creative concepts that make an impact
- Designing eye-catching assets for digital platforms (social media, websites, EDMs), print (posters, signage), and everything in between
- Creating content that stops the scroll on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, and podcasts (Let us know where you shine and what gets you excited!)
- Keeping your finger on the pulse of social media trends, design innovations, and emerging visual styles
- Helping us streamline and organize our creative assets to keep everything running smoothly
- Enjoying the flexibility of working 2–3 days a week with a fast-paced, fun team in Brisbane.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–3 years of experience in a creative role (we love a strong portfolio!)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign or similar tools – bonus points for video, mobile-first design, or animation skills
- A solid eye for detail and the ability to manage your time well – fast turnaround? No problem!
- A passion for storytelling through design, staying on top of trends, and keeping things fresh
- Someone who loves the energy of markets, food, and the community vibe
- Bonus points if you’ve worked on branding, event promotion, or food-related design projects!
Why You’ll Love It:
- Design for a brand that’s beloved by locals and visitors alike
- No two days are ever the same – one day you could be working on social assets, the next on festival signage
- You’ll have creative freedom to pitch bold ideas and see them come to life
- Work with a passionate, fast-paced team who loves food and great design
- Flexibility to work remotely or in our Brisbane office – work where you feel most inspired!
