What Happens When Students Solve Real- World Business Challenges?

You get fresh ideas, bold moves, and trust us when we say this: a major spark of inspiration!
Goodwill Projects recently teamed up with QUT Business School to take part in a major capstone experience. From a huge cohort of 830 students and 174 multidisciplinary teams, the top three teams were selected to tackle a real strategic challenge for our business:
👉 How do we attract and retain high-quality vendors and customers across our iconic market locations.
Raising the Bar
When students step up, the ideas level up.
They didn’t just meet the brief, they raised it.
Their ideas were commercially sharp, grounded in purpose, and backed by serious insight into what we do and who we do it for.
From fresh ideas, thorough research and polished presentations, let’s just say…they didn’t miss the market.

Empowering Growth Through Real-World Collaboration

From theory to thriving.
At Goodwill Projects, we’re experts at transforming overlooked spaces into vibrant platforms for small businesses to grow.
This experience felt like an extension of that, giving students the space to step into something real and bring their own perspective to the table.
And the highlight? That priceless moment of exchange. To help piece solutions together with precision; where our team could challenge, question, and learn, and the students could test their thinking in the deep end.
Together, we’re shaping tomorrow.
A huge thank you to QUT, Dr Mazlan Maskor, and the students who brought their A-game.
And thanks to our own team for making space, not just physically, but intellectually — for the next generation of entrepreneurial minds.
Like pieces of a puzzle coming together, our collaboration completes the bigger picture.
